Carson's Big Boy Room

I have been working on Carson's Big Boy room in preperation for another baby. I still have some details to finish painting on the cars on the wall (which I hope to do this weekend). He won't actually start sleeping in his big boy bed until there's a baby in the crib, but he enjoys climbing up on it and reading books. We decided to use this bed that was my papa's since it's was the cheapest options. I'm really happy with how the room turned out.

Ikea Towel

Mommy purchased this bath towel for Carson at Ikea (Atlanta). Mommy is very excited for Ikea to open in Cincinnati on March 12th. But we will wait a week or two before going.

Talking our ear off

Last night Darren and I laughed so hard at Carson talking to us. He really thinks he's carrying on a conversation. He just talks and talks and talks. It was so funny. He even threw in a few giggles during his babbling. Of couse, we have no clue what he told us BUT it was very important and funny.

I am in awe of God's creations when I look at this little guy. He grows every day and his mind is just working overtime. He learns something new everyday. I'm certain he's a genius!

1st Emergency Room visit

Well, we started the morning with Carson's 18 mos checkup. We then stoped at the store before I went back to work. Well, Carson was riding in the back of the cart (I know - crazy mommy). He was reaching for something he wanted and he fell out and hit right on the top of his head. So we rushed to the emergency room. Of course, I was the one who needed more attention - since I was freaking out :) But, everthing is ok. He was sitting in the hospital bed turning the TV channels and chatting with all the nurses. He even ate a bag of chips and apple juice. I think he was trying to figure out why mommy was so worried and crying.

Playing in the SNOW

Finally some snow that Carson could play in. We bundled up with the snowsuit and snow buits and went outside. Carson tried to take a few steps and decided he was "stuck". So I had to carry him to where he wanted to go because the snow was too deep for him to walk. He enjoyed riding the sled with our neighbor, Max.

Bubba's Best Friend

One of Carson's favorite things to do lately is to feed Bubba, our cat. Of course, Bubba won't come near the food until Carson leaves the kitchen. What a BIG helper!
